Connecting to others in your local community is a great way to explore Australia and Australian culture.

There are many different cultural groups and religious centres that can make you feel welcome.

The Local Government Association is where you can find information about local governments in Adelaide.

The SA Council  provides information about your local council, including website links and an outline of the services available in your community.

Your local community centre may offer English lessons. You can find out more on your local council website.

The University’s Religious and Chaplains Service is open to all members of the community, irrespective of personal belief, philosophy, life view or faith. Chaplains welcome the opportunity for discussion of the broader questions of life, spirituality or faith, as well as being available for pastoral care and counsel in particular personal situations.
